J1 Technologies Ltd was incorporated in July 1999 to meet the demand for customised surfactants and formulated process chemicals.

The founder members of J1 have an in depth expertise and wide experience in the production, formulation and application of speciality surfactants into a range of industries.

J1 Technologies has become one of the first Chemical Companies in the UK to be issued, by the Environment Agency, a permit under; The Integration Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) regulations, to manufacture Surface Active Agents (Surfactants), involving reactions.

The manufacturing is based in Trafford Park, Manchester with a flexible batch production unit, supported by a strong research and technical service department committed to custom formulation of products to support customer needs.
